Unfortunately due to security concerns, we are no longer allowing users to change their Maholla Account phone numbers through the support channel. We urge you to please create a new Maholla Account on the latest version of the Maholla App. We understand that this may be frustrating for many users, however, the benefits of this may allow for a better user experience overall.
By creating a new Maholla Account with the latest version of the Maholla App, you will be able to register an account with your email address instead of your phone number. This means that if you lose your phone/ SIM card in the future, you will be able to log in with your email address and password instead. This will ensure the longevity and security of your account, and means that you will never be locked out of your Maholla Account again.
If you are still in possession of your old number, you can change your phone number by doing the following:
Go To: Profile --> Settings --> Phone Number --> Enter the number which you want to change to.
You will receive an OTP on your new number. Enter that into the Maholla App and you will be granted access to your account.
Very important: Please ensure that you enter the phone number correctly, otherwise you will not be able to receive the OTP on the new number.
