Reasons for Account Freezing
Your account may be frozen due to dishonest receipt scanning behavior. Understanding the reasons can help prevent future issues.
Steps to Unfreeze Your Account

Update the Maholla App:
- Ensure you have the latest version of the Maholla app. Go to the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) and check for updates. Install any available updates to ensure you have the latest features and bug fixes.

Open the Maholla App:
- Navigate to the Discover page where you will see a notification stating "Account frozen".

Access the Frozen Account Section:
- Tap on the "Account frozen" alert. This will take you to the Frozen Account actions page.

Review Common Reasons:
- To understand why your account was frozen, you can tap on "See common reasons for frozen accounts" for more details.

Choose an Action to Recover Your Account:
- Option 1 (Instant):
- Select "RESET RECEIPTS & UNFREEZE ACCOUNT". This will reset your receipt points to zero, but you will retain all other points. This option provides an immediate resolution.
- Option 2 (Manual Review):
- If you believe your account was frozen in error, select "Submit account for review". Your account will be manually reviewed by our team, which may take approximately 30 days. Note that you can only submit one review request per account freeze.
- Option 1 (Instant):

- Choosing Option 1 will only reset your receipt points. All other points earned through games, surveys, and other activities will remain unaffected.
